Teach someone English as a Second Language (ESL)
Volunteer
If you are an adult who can read and write English, likes people, and can commit to 1 to 2 hours a week, then you are eligible to become a volunteer tutor. We provide training, teaching materials, and mentors to assist adults interested in this important work.

Board Membership
Our board meets monthly via Zoom to discuss organizational needs and oversight. The Board ensures tutors and students are provided with the resources they need to be successful in their lessons. If interested in serving on our board, please reach out using out Contact page.
Donations
Your donations help DVLC continue to provide free English tutoring to those in the Diablo Valley area.
Even a small donation can change someone’s life by giving them the skills to succeed.
Dues
Tutors donate $20 yearly for organizational maintenance. Dues are collected at the beginning of each year.
